Sarah Kennealy, DDS

Dr. Sarah Kennealy was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. She graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Tech in 2004. Following graduation she worked at the Massey Cancer Center studying blood cancers and helping to develop the drugs used to treat them. In 2008 she returned to school to study dentistry and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012. After graduation she joined a private practice in Richmond and has been practicing dentistry there for the last six years. 
Dr. Kennealy is passionate about providing the best care to her patients, and it is important that her patients feel comfortable and relaxed during treatment. She is trained in providing comprehensive dental care from simple to complex cases. Dr. Kennealy is very active in the dental community as a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. She is committed to developing her skills and knowledge through continuing education and training.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their three children. Together they love spending as much time as they can outside taking advantage of all the wonderful trails and parks in the area. They are excited to be returning home to Northern Virginia and spending more time with friends and family. 
Dr. Kennealy is accepting new patients and thrilled to be joining Graceful Smiles. She speaks English and Spanish.

Charissa Chin, DDS, FAGD

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Charissa Chin was admitted to the premier Advance Education in General Dentistry program at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, in New York City. She then followed that up with a General Practice Residency at Berkshire Medical Center, in Massachusetts. Upon successful completion of both advanced training programs, she was recruited and appointed to the Assistant Professor position at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. She served as a full time faculty member at VCU for four years before entering full time private practice. Dr. Chin is passionate about helping you achieve your optimum level of oral health. She is committed to continuing education and keeping abreast with the latest advances in dentistry. Dr. Chin is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires 500 hours of continuing education as well as passing the fellowship exam. She has taken multiple courses at the Dawson Academy, and loves to provide complete care dentistry.
