About Dr. Dana Sembera

Dr. Dana Sembera is a compassionate and dedicated general dentist who is committed to providing personalized, high-quality care in a comfortable environment. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry, where she developed a passion for serving diverse communities through volunteer outreach. During dental school, she participated in multiple mission trips to Jamaica, volunteered with Remote Area Medical (RAM) clinics providing care to underserved populations throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Texas, and completed a month-long externship at several dental practices in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Dr. Sembera moved to Falls Church, Virginia, at the age of 12. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and enjoys helping patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds feel comfortable and understood.

Dr. Sembera is passionate about lifelong learning and regularly pursues continuing education in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ disorders, and occlusion to provide her patients with the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatment options.



Outside the office, Dr. Sembera lives in Reston, Virginia, where she enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her free time, she loves playing tennis and volleyball, running with her dog, taking pilates classes, and traveling.
